We recently held our annual lecture at Staple Inn Hall – the home of the actuarial profession. Nearly 50 Masters attended the event and all thoroughly enjoyed the lecture given by Mr John Kay, CBE on “Risk and uncertainlty in finance and business – an annotated history”.

We Actuaries took part in the Modern Companies’ float again this year.  Our three participants were the Master, the Master’s son Colin and Liveryman Emma McWilliam. Here they are – walking in the rain!
