 The Worshipful Company of Actuaries
2007 Lord Mayor's Procession
The annual Lord Mayor's Procession took place on November 10th. Over 6,000 joined in the procession, among whom were the Master and other members of the Worshipful Company of Actuaries.

Junior Warden Adrian Waddingham (right - wearing the new ceremonial hat)
It is proposed that the Presidents of the Institute and the Faculty adopt the new headgear for future Sessional meetings.
The Lord Mayor's Show (as it is familiarly known) dates back to 1215 (the year of Magna Carta). Originally a water procession  by barges ("floats"), the procession celebrates the inauguration of the new Lord Mayor of London on the second Saturday in November.
The procession includes the Great Twelve Livery companies of London, other Livery Companies by invitation,  and the bands and members of privileged regiments of the City.
