ELECTION OF THE LORD MAYOR ON 29TH SEPTEMBER, 2010
The election of the Lord Mayor will take place on Wednesday 29th September at Guildhall. If you would like to attend (only members of the Company who became liverymen on or before 31st May, 2009 are entitled to vote) let me know and I will issue you with an election pass. The ceremony starts at 11.45 am, but you must be in your seat by 11.30 am (better 11.15 am to secure a seat in Guildhall).
We are likely to be invited to join the Barbers Company at their hall in Monkwell Square for lunch afterwards. There are only a limited number of places at lunch so if you would like to attend please let me know as soon as possible (and let me have a cheque for £40 made payable to the Worshipful Company of Actuaries). In view of the limited number of places I have not attached an application form for this lunch.
