GIN TASTING MASTERCLASS – 19 MARCH 2019
March 19 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
We will be holding a Gin tasting masterclass evening at the Merchant House, 13 Well Court, London EC4M 9DN, at 6pm on Tuesday 19 March.
We can expect to be guided through the history of Gin, starting with its Dutch origins and the 30 years war, through to modern day distillation techniques. We will taste at each step of the story, including a Genever, Old Tom, London Dry and finishing off on a rare vintage Gin.
The tasting will last about 90 minutes and we will have a Gin and Tonic, and 5 neat tasters.
To soak up all that Gin, we will take a short walk to Ye Olde Watling House, where we have a private room reserved. There is no set menu and we will be able to choose from food and drink that the pub has on offer. All food and drink after the Gin tasting will be for your own account.
