MANSION HOUSE BANQUET – 2 MAY 2018

May 2 @ 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm

MANSION HOUSE BANQUET – 2 MAY 2018

We are very lucky once again this year to be able to secure a booking at the Mansion House for our banquet. We will dine in Mansion House’s splendid Egyptian Hall, and we are delighted that our host, the Lord Mayor, Alderman Charles Bowman, plans to be in attendance, along with the Lady Mayoress, both Sheriffs and their consorts.

Our Principal Guest is Baroness Wolf of Dulwich, Alison Wolf CBE.  Alison is the Sir Roy Griffiths Professor of Public Sector Management at University College London, and she sits as a cross-bench peer in the House of Lords.  While most of Alison’s current work focuses on the interface between education, institutions and the labour markets, she also has long-standing interests in assessment, and in mathematics education.  Her  book, The XX Factor, also analyses some fascinating and rich data on women in our society today, covering their working and personal lives.

Tickets are £130 a head (£80 for prospective members attending their first Livery dinner as a guest) and can be reserved online by clicking on the Mansion House booking form.

The recommended dress code for the evening is “white tie” for gentlemen and equivalent for ladies.  Please note that bookings will close on Friday 6 April so please book now without delay
