WINTER LIVERY DINNER ON 30 JANUARY 2018
30th January 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
WINTER LIVERY DINNER AND COMMON HALL – 30 JANUARY 2018 AT IRONMONGERS’ HALL
Our Winter Livery Dinner is an important date in our year, as it is preceded by Common Hall where you elect the following year’s Master and Wardens. Common Hall will commence at 6pm. This will be followed by a drinks reception where a couple of charities supported by CACT will exhibit. Dinner will follow at 7.30pm.
This year we are visiting the splendid Ironmongers’ Hall, which we last visited in 2001 and so will be a new location for most of us. The Ironmongers are one of the Great 12 Livery Companies – number 10.
Our principal guest will be Sir Leigh Lewis.
Sir Leigh is a retired civil servant who served as Permanent Secretary at the Department of Work and Pensions from 2006 to 2011.
He is currently vice Chairman of St Mungo’s, a charity that supports the homeless, and Chairman of Drinkaware. He also holds non-executive appointments at Aviva and the Ombudsman Service
Tickets are £105 each (with a discount price of £55 for prospective members attending their first dinner as a guest) and can be reserved by clicking the booking form found here.
Booking will close on 17 January, or earlier if we reach the Hall’s capacity. A reminder that the usual format of business guests only will apply at this dinner.
