On Thursday 6th July, with standing room only in Haberdashers’ Hall, Mr Rodney Jagelman was installed as Master of the Worshipful Company of Actuaries, becoming the 44th Master to serve the Company.

Rodney was educated at Tiffin School, Kingston upon Thames and Emmanuel College Cambridge before starting as a trainee actuary with Bacon Woodrow. His career as an actuary has been entirely in the field of pensions, both as a consulting actuary and as a professional pension Trustee. After 15 years with the Law Debenture team of professional pension trustees Rodney retired in 2018. He has served as Chair of the National Association of Professional Pension Trustees.
He is a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Glovers and is a member of Bassishaw Ward Club and the City Livery Club. He is married to Susan, a Liveryman and Court Assistant of the Worshipful Company of Framework Knitters.

The Master will be supported by Senior Warden, Gordon Sharp, and Junior Warden Emma McWilliam.
